Preparation
As a Roux base for sauces:
Whisk 100 g of KNORR Roux granules into 1 L of hot or boiling liquid (milk, stock etc).
Bring to the boil and simmer for 1 minute, whisking continuously.
As a Roux base for soups:
Whisk 75 g of KNORR Roux granules into 1 L of hot or boiling liquid (milk, stock etc).
Bring to the boil and simmer for 1 minute, whisking continuously.
As a Thickener/Finisher:
Add desired amount of granules directly into boiling liquid, simmer for 1 minute, stirring until thick.
Add more granules if a thicker consistency is required.
